Fees & Funding
How much does the service cost?+
Our service fee reflects the coordination, placement support, and supervision structure required to secure and organise a suitable Designated Prescribing Practitioner placement. Because DPP availability, location, and clinical setting can vary, the overall cost may differ between clinicians. Typically, the total service fee ranges between £1,500 and £1,799, depending on factors such as location, supervising DPP availability, prescribing scope, and university requirements. Full details are provided during the application and onboarding process so clinicians can make a decision with clarity.
How do you keep the service affordable?+
We recognise that securing appropriate supervision for Independent Prescribing training can sometimes be financially challenging. Our service is designed to make access to suitable DPP supervision more structured and as affordable as possible while maintaining professional standards. By coordinating placements and working with experienced supervisors across different settings, we aim to provide clinicians with a transparent and supportive pathway into supervised prescribing practice.
Is a deposit required?+
A £300 deposit is required to confirm and reserve a DPP placement once a suitable supervisor has been identified. The remaining balance is arranged once the placement details and supervision schedule have been confirmed.
Refund policy+
If you do not secure a university place, you may request a refund of payments made minus a £99 administrative fee.
University
Do you guarantee university admission?+
No. Admissions and programme requirements are set by the university. DPP Mentor supports access to supervision support only.
Can you complete my university application?+
Applicants complete their university forms themselves. Universities may require specific documents and evidence.

Choose an accredited IP programme that matches your profession and circumstances. Confirm entry requirements with the university directly.
